What ScreenMinded is
- What is ScreenMinded?
A UK-based independent digital safeguarding education platform. It gives school staff, residential care staff, and parents and carers practical training on gaming and the wider digital world, starting with GTA 6, plus four tools and ongoing safety updates. See About ScreenMinded.
- Why is it built around GTA 6?
GTA 6 is a major game release, made for adults, that many children will hear about, watch clips of, or want to play. ScreenMinded explains what is confirmed about the game, what is not, and how adults can respond to the situations that arise around popular adult games. We do not claim that GTA 6 causes harm.
- Is ScreenMinded connected to Rockstar Games?
No. ScreenMinded is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, and it uses no official game artwork or footage.
- Can I try it before buying?
Yes. Step Inside ScreenMinded is a free three-minute interactive demonstration of the training and the tools. It shows the style and a small sample of the content, never the full paid training or tools.
Packages and pricing
- What does a package include?
Every package includes the training for its audience, the four tools (Gaming Language Decoder, Check Your Child's Gaming Safety, Set Up Parental Controls, Manage Gaming Spending), GTA 6 Safety Updates and detailed safeguarding briefings. There are no tiers, no upgrades and no monthly subscription. See the packages.

- How long does access last?
Access lasts 12 months from purchase, including every update and safeguarding briefing published in that time. There is no automatic renewal and no monthly subscription.
- How do I buy?
Online purchasing is opening soon. Until then, email us with the package you need and we will arrange payment, set up your access and send your links.
- Can I get a refund?
We do not give refunds simply because you have changed your mind once your access has started. Your legal rights are not affected: they include the 14-day right to cancel in some cases, and your rights if the content is faulty or not as described. The full details are on our refunds and cancellations page.
Access and accounts
- Do I need an account?
No. ScreenMinded uses private access links instead of accounts. A school or setting receives a staff link and, for schools, a parent link to share with families; a parent or carer who buys directly receives their own link. Your progress is saved in your own browser.
- Who can use it?
ScreenMinded is written for adults. Access is for people aged 18 or over. It is not designed for children to use, and no child's name or details should ever be entered on the site.
- My link has stopped working. What do I do?
If your link came from a school or setting, ask them for an up-to-date link. If you bought ScreenMinded directly, email support@screenminded.co.uk.
- Do staff get a certificate?
Yes. Education and Residential Care staff who pass the assessment (70% or more) receive a certificate that anyone can verify on this site using its number. The Parents & Carers guide has quick checks but no certificate.
Safeguarding and support
- Is ScreenMinded a reporting or advice service?
No. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999. Follow your organisation's safeguarding procedures. We do not take questions about individual children. See our safeguarding statement.
- How do I contact support?
Email support@screenminded.co.uk. We aim to reply within 48 working hours. General enquiries: info@screenminded.co.uk.
- What information do you collect?
As little as possible: no accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking. The details are in our privacy notice and cookies policy.
